Since 1998 I have dedicated my life to the real estate business here in the Rogue Valley. I was a licensed agent for 3 years until I was offered a marketing position with First American Title. During my tenure there from 2000-2007, I was promoted to the position of Regional Marketing and Sales Manager as well as Realtor Education Coordinator. In my 7 years at the company, our staff enhanced and promoted its services and personnel, effectively increasing our market share to become the leading title insurer in the valley.

As a City of Medford Planning Commissioner for 3 years, I acquired a lot of knowledge and experience in understanding city planning and development goals, as well as a solid understanding of the laws, ordinances and rules of the development application process. As a current Medford School Board Director, I am intimately involved with setting Board goals and policies that not only enhance the academic standards of our community but provide every student with the tools and opportunities to graduate and succeed.

I earned a Business Administration/ Marketing degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1980, and a graduate degree and teaching certificate in History from Montana State University in Bozeman in 1998. For 13 years, I was a commercial print consultant in San Francisco, and worked for a real estate publishing company in Montana before relocating to the Rogue Valley in 1997.

Born in Massachusetts, but raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have traveled extensively around the globe. My wife and I have 3 children and enjoy tending our 10-acre mini-farm here in Medford. I was involved in supporting and assisting our local boy scout troop for the last 10 years, and am a dedicated history, geography and political science aficionado.
